Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 26, 2026
This policy explains what personal data SENDANYWAIR processes and how file data is handled in secure-link and P2P flows.
1. Short version
For P2P transfers, file contents are not uploaded to or stored on our servers. The file moves directly from one device to another.
For standard SENDANYWAIR secure links, file contents are stored temporarily so recipients can download them. As soon as the expected download is complete, files are deleted from our storage. Files that are not downloaded are removed when the retention period expires.
We still process account, license, payment, recipient, transfer, security, and technical metadata needed to run the service.
2. Controller and contact
SENDANYWAIR is responsible for the personal data processed through the website, app, P2P app, receiver apps, and related services.
For privacy questions or requests, contact: support@sendanywair.com.
3. Data we process
- Account data, such as name, email address, login identifiers, and authentication status.
- License and billing data, such as plan, subscription status, Stripe customer or session identifiers, invoices, and payment status.
- Transfer metadata, such as file name, file size, sender, recipient email addresses, group information, messages, upload status, download status, timestamps, and retention information.
- Security data, such as password-protection status and password hashes where applicable.
- P2P connection metadata, such as invitations, peer presence, preferences, device identifiers, connection status, and technical IP-related information needed for signaling.
- Receiver app data, such as signed-in account, device readiness, receiver status, and selected configuration. Files saved locally by the receiver remain on that device.
- Technical data, such as IP address, browser, device type, logs, diagnostics, and security events.
4. Why we process data
- To create and manage accounts and licenses.
- To provide secure download links, P2P transfer, receiver apps, and transfer status.
- To process payments and subscriptions through Stripe.
- To send transactional emails or transfer notifications where needed.
- To prevent abuse, investigate security issues, enforce terms, and comply with legal obligations.
- To improve reliability, diagnose errors, and maintain the service.
5. Legal bases
Depending on the context, we process personal data because it is necessary to perform the contract with you, because we have a legitimate interest in operating and securing the service, because we must comply with legal obligations, or because you have given consent where consent is required.
6. Service providers
We may use trusted processors and infrastructure providers for hosting, storage, payments, email delivery, logging, security, and deployment. This includes payment processing by Stripe and file storage infrastructure for secure-link transfers and downloadable receiver packages.
We do not sell personal data.
7. Retention
P2P file contents are not retained because they are not stored on our servers.
Secure-link files are retained temporarily. They are deleted from our storage as soon as the expected download is complete, or removed when the relevant retention period expires if they are not downloaded. Transfer and account metadata may be retained longer where needed for account history, billing, security, support, dispute handling, legal compliance, and service integrity.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or export your personal data. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To exercise your rights, contact support@sendanywair.com. We may need to verify your identity before handling a request.
9. Security
We use technical and organizational measures to protect the service. No online service is completely risk-free, so you should use strong passwords, protect your account, and send files only to trusted recipients.
10. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy when the service changes or legal requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page.
